Cuba Festival Travel: Habano Cigar Festival

Cuba Travel to the Habano Cigar Festival with Authentic Cuba Tours

From February 22 to March 1, 2025

The Cuba Cigar Festival is the Biggest World Party for Premium Cigars! $2,999 (all taxes included)

Referral Discount: $100

By booking a trip to the Habano Cigar Festival 2025 with Authentic Cuba Travel®, cigar aficionados will enjoy complete access to all festivities, new cigar brand launches and events around this world class party. Considered by cigar experts as the biggest cigar gathering in the world, the Cigar Festival of Havana is arguably surpassed only by Las Vegas “Big Smoke”.

The American cigar gathering cannot showcase Cuban cigars, due to the economic restrictions imposed by the US Embargo on the Caribbean island in the 1960’s, which explains why its quality as a world forum for the premium cigar is inferior to the international cigar party of Havana, Cuba. An authentic Cuba attraction in itself, the Habano is considered the best Cigar in the planet due to its triple condition of best soils, weather and producers' experience and knowledge.

The Cuba travel experience features not only touring Cuba’s oldest cigar factories, testing the finest Habanos and traveling to the best tobacco growing plantations in the Caribbean island. Tour participants will also rub shoulders with Cuba’s most influential businessmen and establish relationships with world leaders in the cigar industry. A perfect mixture of business and pleasure awaits!

Authentic Cuba Travel® warmly invites Cigar Aficionados and Cigar Industry Professionals to attend the Habano Cigar Festival of Cuba 2022. The XXV Cigar Festival of Cuba will take place from February 24 to February 28, 2025. The official tour to the fair will go from February 22 to March 1, 2025.

The Habano Cigar Festival is the most eagerly-awaited event for all famous cigar lovers who are fond of the Cuban premium brands. For every eminent cigar smoker like Jack Nicholson, Arnold Schwarzenegger or Jeremy Irons, who share the passion for the Habanos, the Festival has several wonderful treats. Even the British actor Jeremy Irons has been awarded with the Prize Habanos 2005 in the category of Communication for his contribution to the diffusion of the culture of the Habanos around the world.

The Habano Cigar Festival regularly attracts some 1500 producers, distributors and businessmen, as well as large numbers of Cigar aficionados and tourists. A venue for announcing new Cigar brands, the Habano Cigar Festival also unveils new vitolas. Habano Cigar Festival's attendees have the chance to taste new cigars, visit plantations and factories, roll their own leaves and experience first-hand the secrets of a deep-rooted centuries-old tradition.

The event ends with the gala dinner, which is always an entertaining formal affair full of great smokes. It includes the auction of rare humidors to raise money for the Cuban Public Health System. Last year more than $1.3 million was raised from the sale of a dozen or so humidors, which usually appear more like pieces of furniture than anything else.

Cuba Cigar Festival

The meeting gathers up thousands of people from the entire world, with commercial showcase, tasting, masterly lectures, tours to cigar plantations and cigar factories, where ideas and experiences are exchanged as well as the Habanos' novelties are presented. US Hollywood stars are usuals at the Habano Cigar Festival. It’s become the Woodstock or Cochella Music Festival for Cuban cigars. If you are into Habanos, you have got to go. And it’s in Havana no less. Nevertheless, the most important event within the Festival is the "Premio Habano del Año", a yearly award given in the categories of business, production, communica- tion, and the auction that closes this Cuban gathering where truly works of arts are presented such as artistic humidors.

Expert’s Corner

Expert’s Corner

Hello! I’m Bernt Dietmar. Over 20 years ago, I visited Cuba as part of a delegation of American scientists interested in exploring opportunities for research and business collaboration. I was surprised by Cuba’s high academic standards, and the methods used in the educational system. We founded Authentic Cuba Travel® to show that Cuba is more than another Caribbean tourism destination and promote the understanding in between Cuba and North America. I kindly invite you to join us. We'll explore UNESCO World Heritage Sites, exchange with Cubans, partake in local food dishes, music, rum, and much more!

Cuban Festivals

Every year Cuba’s International Festivals brought travellers to Cuba from all over the world. Every year Authentic Cuba Travel® makes sure that those attending international events such as the Havana Jazz Festival, the Havana Book Fair, the Havana Film Festival, the Havana Art Biennial, the Fire Festival, the Havana Ballet Festival or the Habano Cigar Festival get the most out of their Cuba travel experience and get to know the authentic Cuba.

Don Jaime is also believed to have experimented with various methods of fermenting and aging tobacco and is legendarily credited with hiring the first lector to read to and entertain the cigar rollers as they worked. Before and after the Revolution, the Cuban-produced Partagás has been one of the most revered and highest-selling brands of cigars in the world.
